There must be a better way

Hello All
There we were after another tranquil day on Franklin Farm everything was running smoothly the pick ups and drop offs had gone according to plan, and I am just talking about the children, so I was on schedule for an exciting evening in watching nothing of any substance, just a quick trip to Libourne for Emilys final check up with the surgeon and then home by 7pm. I think some of you may be slightly ahead of me on this one already. You guessed it, a nice comfortable journey in and then after the roundabout....stop. So, long journey short, it took 45 minutes to drive a 4 minute route, but the upside was the centre was so clogged the Doctor was still in her rooms seeing all of her late patients. We got home at 8.15pm. A 3 hour round trip instead of 2, with no Doctor to blame for lateness.
Going backwards from yesterday was more productive our long weekend was spent doing a bit of work on the insulation in the barn. Emily had fun making jigsaws with some off cuts in some of the spaces.
I promise that even though Gavin is pictured cutting and measuring I did on this occasion do a significant quantity of this stage, so sorry kids if the bedrooms are cold you will have to blame Mum. It is quite exciting the sound has changed inside the house no more echoing.... feels more like a home.
We had chocolate cake treats this weekend Emily was busy in the kitchen. Yum. She had lots of revision to do?....... Maybe of the stomach variety?

The sheep tunnel has been colonised by a pigeon and her 4 babies now there are fewer sheep in there.
Most of the lambs, who are in fine fettle, are outside enjoying the delights of yummy green grass and warm sunshine. Gavins job has been modified from chief bucket carrier to chief fence carrier, which I think he views as a promotion and life ticks by at its usual chaotic rate. Our neighbour once more has our girls eating his uumm....fields of grass..... with the occasional foray into the..... uumm garden.
He says it keeps him on his toes though having 80 girls to tell to go home periodically. I think he may be more amazed by the fact that these girls actually listen to him ;-). And apparently they are quite well trained as they go and jump back in over the fence. I think Gavin has bred a new line of fluffy steeple chaser.
As you can see below they are really stretched for enough grazing, consequently escape to the garden is really the only answer(?*!)
See you all soon
Helen

That appears to be excellent however i am still not too sure that I like it. At any rate will look far more into it and decide personally!
